Lush, healthy looking lawns don’t get that way by accident. They need consistent, proper care – like mowing, feeding, and watering — and occasional aeration & overseeding.
If you’d like to improve the health of your lawn, try our full-service lawn care package. It combines all the services a lawn needs, including regular mowing and scheduled, targeted treatments. Maybe your lawn already looks great. This package will keep it looking that way – as we do all the work!

Grass Cutting
Proper mowing makes a difference. Done right, and it encourages healthy lawns with deeper roots and fewer weeds. Done wrong, and mowing can leave your lawn looking bedraggled, brown, and full of weedy patches. At ATD Landscaping, we mow lawns on a regular basis, and we follow proven protocols.
- We won’t mow a lawn more times than necessary, or too infrequently.
- Before heading out each day, we check that mower blades are sharp, and that they’re set at the proper heights. This way, we avoid shredding grass tips, and don’t end up cutting lawns too low.
- Our lawn pros are punctual, reliable, and thorough – you can be sure that before leaving, they will trim lawn edges and blow grass clippings from your walkways and driveways.
- The regular lawn mowing season runs April – October.
Lawn Improvements
We’ve maintained lawns for many years, so we can assure you: healthy looking lawns don’t get that way by themselves. They need aeration, overseeding, and feeding at regular intervals using proper fertilization formulas.
If you’d like to improve the health of your lawn, we can conduct a soil test and send you an estimate for a customized lawn improvement program. We also offer individual options for aeration, feeding, and overseeding.
If you’d like one company to handle all your lawn care and maintenance needs, choose our full-service lawn-care package. It includes regular mowing services, as well as targeted lawn treatments for improving OR maintaining the health of your lawn.
Aerate & Overseed
Lawns need to be aerated to perform well. Otherwise, the soil below them hardens, and layers of “thatch” can build up on top. When this happens, rainwater and important nutrients can no longer penetrate and reach the soil down below — where the root system of your lawn is. That’s when lawns start to fail.
Our “core aeration” service helps prevent this common problem. We recommend aerating your lawn at least once a year — ideally in the fall, with overseeding.
Fertilize
ATD offers a five-step lawn fertilization program which runs March – October, and repeats in following years, on request.
Order a soil test, and we’ll create a customized lawn care program based on the results (with a free estimate to do that work)
Professional lawn rejuvenations take time — especially if turf hasn’t been maintained or properly nourished for a while. It usually takes 18-24 months of regular service before it starts to look healthier.
We think you’ll agree it’s worth the wait!

Lawn Replacement
Sod
If your existing lawn is 75% weeds, we recommend replacing it with sod. Before the sod goes down, we remove old lawn material and prepare the ground with soil and conditioner. Then come the sod rolls – applied efficiently and properly.
New sod needs plenty of sun to thrive, and proper watering to survive. Before you install sod, get your watering plan in place. Leaving town soon? Ask about our special watering services.
Grass-like Alternatives
Ready to lose the lawn? Ask about low-maintenance alternatives to grass, like native sedges. Given a year or two to fill out, sedge lawns need little to no mowing per season.
